BlaqueStone is a renowned American married couple and live music group. Blaquestone is an infusion of neo-soul with the lyricism and the grooves of hip-hop, a hint of jazz, and the essence of funk with the talk box and Key-tar elements. This unit is the definition of true artistry.

The couple consists of rapper/singer/songwriter and producer Nyne (Marcus). The other half is singer/lyricist/songwriter Cortney, known as Queen. The band consists of Keyboarder Deon Moon, Drummer Brendan Mills, and Bass Player Deshawn Davis.

BlaqueStone has received recent positive reviews from Essence Magazine, Blavity, AfroPunk, TeamBack Back, etc. When they aren’t curating their own events, they have performed at places like The Kennedy Center,  NPR, 2018 AFRAM Music Festival (headliner Ella Mai ), NYC, The National Mall, and has even opened up for U.K Artist Ray Blk.

The couple has had their hit single 11:59 in Netflix Original Movie “DUDE” starring Lucy Hale. Blaquestone has received an individual artist of the year award from the State of Maryland and was able to speak about outreach with Revolt TV a few years back as well. The group does work with the youth through their curated traveling workshop called Creative Therapy. This workshop focuses on using live music, hip hop, and open mic-style presentations. The mission is to get kids to have fun while positively expressing their emotions and themselves.

The BlaqueStone experience is a cultured filled, positive and authentic force moving by using love, music, and live instrumentation to bring a message.
